I travel quite a lot for my studies and so usually end up eating all alone in restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in MILWAUKEE WI where I ate at Saigon Restaurant and I saw a new cover story on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a great possibility for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got some pieces of clothing.

I must tell you I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found out some interesting details to do with bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
