I travel a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in MIFFLINBURG PA where I ate at Larry's Pizza & Subs and I read an interesting article about bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a couple basic items of clothing.
I must say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. I also noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After some more research I discovered some more interesting pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
