I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I like to take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in MIDDLESEX NJ where I ate at Ocean Garden Chinese Restaurant and I saw a new piece to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great option for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a few items of clothing.
I have to say I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found some other interesting details to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.
I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find some information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
