I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in MIAMI FL where I ate at Coral Restaurant and I read a new piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a great choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased some items of clothing.

I must admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After some more research I discovered some interesting facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
