I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in MENOMONIE WI where I ate at Jake's Resort & Supper Club and I came across a new cover story about bamboo clothes. I did not realise you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a great choice for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and bought some pieces of clothing.

I should admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found out some other amazing facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, socks, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
