I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner all alone in restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. I must admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was great. I also noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

After a little more research I found some interesting details about bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, throws, and baby clothes.
