I travel a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in MARATHON FL where I ate at Village Cafe and I saw a really interesting piece to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and got a few pieces of clothing.
I must say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I think is great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a little more research I discovered some other interesting facts to do with bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
