I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up eating by myself in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in LUCEDALE MS where I ate at Aunt Becks Family Restaurant and I came across a new article on bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a great choice for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and got a couple items of clothing.

I should say I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found some more incredible facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
