I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner alone in restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in LINCOLN NE where I ate at Mistys Restaurant & Lounge and I read an interesting article to do with bamboo. I did not know you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good option for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a couple items of clothing.

I should admit I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found out some incredible facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
