I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up eating alone in restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in LIBERTYVILLE IL where I ate at Wood Food Systems Inc and I saw a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a great choice for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and bought a couple pieces of clothing.

I must tell you I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I found to be great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

After a little more research I found some amazing facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
