I travel a lot for my work and so often end up eating by myself in cafes. I often take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in LAVALLETTE NJ where I ate at Cozy Nooke Cafe and I saw an interesting article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a couple basic items of clothing.
I should admit I was very impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found out some more interesting facts on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires little water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
