I travel a lot for my work and so regularly end up having my dinner by myself in restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in LAUREL MT where I ate at Railside Diner and I saw a new piece on bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good option for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got a few basic items of clothing.

I must tell you I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I discovered some incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find more articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
