I move around a lot for my studies and so often end up having my dinner by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and got a couple basic items of clothing.

I should say I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After a little more research I discovered some other incredible details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
