I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up eating alone in restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in LAKE LEELANAU MI where I ate at Key To the County and I read a new piece to do with bamboo. I did not know you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a great choice for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and purchased a few basic items of clothing.
I should admit I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a bit more research I found some other incredible details about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
