I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in KISSIMMEE FL where I ate at Sunset Sam's Fish Camp and I came across a really interesting article on bamboo. I had no idea you can make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great option for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and got a couple items of clothing.
I must say I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.
You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a little more research I found some interesting details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
