I travel a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner alone in restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in KIRKSVILLE MO where I ate at Too Talls Two Eatery & Spirits and I saw a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got some pieces of clothing.
I have to say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I discovered some interesting details about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find some information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
