I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner alone in restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in KINGSFORD MI where I ate at Prime Pasty King and I read a new piece to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought a few pieces of clothing.
I have to tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be amazing. I also noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a bit more research I discovered some more incredible facts about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo needs little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
