I travel a lot for my work and so often end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought some pieces of clothing.

I should tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

After a bit more research I discovered some other interesting details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
