I travel a lot for my work and so often end up eating alone in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got a few items of clothing.

I have to admit I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

It grows extremely fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
