I travel a lot for my work and so often end up having dinner all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in JERSEY CITY NJ where I ate at Good Fellas Restaurant and I read a really interesting article about bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased a couple items of clothing.
I should say I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I found some interesting facts about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
