I travel quite a lot for my work and so often end up eating alone in local restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in JANESVILLE WI where I ate at Big Mike's Super Subs and I read an interesting piece on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you can make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a great possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got some basic items of clothing.
I must admit I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a bit more research I discovered some amazing facts on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
