I travel a lot for my work and so often end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I often take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in HUTCHINSON KS where I ate at Bernard's Restaurant & Catering and I came across a new piece about bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got a few basic items of clothing.
I have to say I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a little more research I found some interesting pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
