I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having dinner all alone in cafes. I often take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in HUTCHINSON KS where I ate at Sol Authentic Mexican Restaurant and I saw a really interesting article about bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got a couple items of clothing.
I must tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found out some interesting pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
