I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up eating by myself in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in HUNTINGTON WV where I ate at China Garden Buffet and I read an interesting piece to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and purchased some items of clothing.

I must admit I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found some other amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
