I travel quite a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner all alone in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in HOT SPRINGS SD where I ate at Hot Springs Super 8 Motel and I read a new cover story about bamboo. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased a few items of clothing.
I should tell you I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found some incredible details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
