I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in HOODSPORT WA where I ate at Luigi's Pizza and I came across a really interesting article about bamboo. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good possibility for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased some pieces of clothing.

I should admit I was extremely impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I discovered some more interesting facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
