I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in HONOLULU HI where I ate at Mcdonald's Restaurants - Enchanted Lake and I came across a new cover story about bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a good possibility for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and bought some items of clothing.

I must say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I discovered some more amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
