I move around a lot for my job and so often end up eating all alone in local restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in HARTFORD WI where I ate at Hammerin' Hank's and I came across a new cover story on bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a excellent option for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got a couple pieces of clothing.

I should tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be great. I also noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a little more research I found some more amazing pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
