I travel quite a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in HARDIN IL where I ate at Hardin Drive In and I saw a really interesting article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good choice for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and got a couple items of clothing.

I should admit I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I discovered some more amazing details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses very little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
