I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up eating all alone in cafes. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in HAMPTON BAYS NY where I ate at Indian Cove Restaurant & Marina and I came across a new piece to do with bamboo. I did not know you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a good option for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a couple items of clothing.

I have to tell you I was pretty impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found out some amazing pieces of information about bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
