I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up eating by myself in cafes. I like to take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in HAMMOND IN where I ate at State Line Pizza and I saw an interesting article to do with bamboo clothes. I did not realise you can make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a couple items of clothing.
I must tell you I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a bit more research I discovered some more interesting pieces of information on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo needs little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
