I travel a lot for my work and so often end up having dinner alone in restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in GULF SHORES AL where I ate at Hurricanes and I read a new cover story about bamboo clothing. I did not realise you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a great possibility for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.

I have to admit I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a little more research I found out some more amazing pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
