I travel quite a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner by myself in restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in GRINNELL IA where I ate at Maid-Rite and I read a new article on bamboo. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got some basic items of clothing.

I should say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

Bamboo Clothing GRINNELL

After a bit more research I found some amazing details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
