I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in GREENSBORO AL where I ate at Dorothy's Country Kitchen and I read a new article on bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and bought a couple basic items of clothing.

I should admit I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry after I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a bit more research I found out some more interesting facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find more details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
