I travel a lot for my studies and so often end up eating by myself in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in GREEN VALLEY AZ where I ate at Holiday Inn Express Green Valley, Az and I read a new cover story on bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.

I should say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. I also noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I discovered some amazing facts on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
