I move around a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having dinner alone in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in GRANITEVILLE SC where I ate at Buddy's Food and I saw a new piece about bamboo. I had no idea you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and bought some items of clothing.

I must admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a bit more research I found some interesting pieces of information on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
