I travel a lot for my work and so regularly end up having dinner alone in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in GOODYEAR AZ where I ate at Best Western Phoenix Goodyear Inn and I came across a really interesting piece on bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a good possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased a few items of clothing.

I must admit I was pretty impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a bit more research I discovered some other amazing details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses very little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
