I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in GAINESVILLE FL where I ate at Mr Han's Restaurant & Night Club and I saw an interesting piece about bamboo clothes. I did not know you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a few items of clothing.

I have to say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I think is incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found some incredible details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo requires little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
