I travel a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in FREDERICK MD where I ate at Kyoko Japanese & Thai Restaurant and I saw a new article to do with bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great option for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and got a few items of clothing.

I must tell you I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I think is incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

Bamboo Clothing FREDERICK

After a bit more research I discovered some other incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
