I travel a lot for my studies and so often end up having dinner by myself in restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in FORT LAUDERDALE FL where I ate at Krystals and I came across a new article to do with bamboo clothes. I did not realise you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good option for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and purchased a couple items of clothing.
I must admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After some more research I found out some incredible details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, socks, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
