I travel quite a lot for my work and so usually end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I often take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in FORT DEFIANCE AZ where I ate at That's A Burger and I came across a new piece on bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a good option for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought a couple items of clothing.

I must say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After some more research I found out some more amazing details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
