I travel a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner all alone in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in FOREST CITY NC where I ate at Ron & Eddys Restaurant and I came across a new article on bamboo. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a few basic items of clothing.
I must admit I was very impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it from the washing machine which I think is great. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After some more research I found out some other incredible details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires very little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
