I travel quite a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in FOLSOM PA where I ate at Bertolli's Pizza & Pasta and I came across a really interesting piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and got a couple items of clothing.
I have to tell you I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I discovered some other interesting details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
