I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in FINDLAY OH where I ate at Durango L L C LLC and I read an interesting article to do with bamboo clothes. I did not know you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased a couple items of clothing.

I must say I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

After a bit more research I found some interesting facts about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
