I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up eating by myself in restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in FAYETTEVILLE AR where I ate at Catfish Hole 3 and I saw a really interesting article to do with bamboo. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a great possibility for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and got a few basic items of clothing.

I have to admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a bit more research I discovered some more interesting pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
