I travel a lot for my studies and so regularly end up eating all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in FAIRFIELD CT where I ate at PACI Restaurant and I read a really interesting cover story about bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a excellent option for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.

I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

Bamboo Clothing FAIRFIELD

After a bit more research I discovered some amazing details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
