I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in FAIRFIELD CT where I ate at Pearl of Budapest Hungarian - Restaurant and I came across a really interesting cover story about bamboo. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.

I must tell you I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

Bamboo Clothing FAIRFIELD

After a bit more research I discovered some interesting details about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
