I travel quite a lot for my studies and so often end up having my dinner all alone in restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in EVERETT WA where I ate at Keg Restaurant and I saw a new article about bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a great choice for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought a couple items of clothing.

I must admit I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found out some incredible details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo uses very little water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
