I travel a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in EVANSVILLE IN where I ate at Lics Deli & Ice Cream and I saw a really interesting cover story to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got some items of clothing.

I must say I was extremely impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I found out some other incredible facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
