I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in ENGLAND AR where I ate at Paps Place Restaurant and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got some items of clothing.

I have to say I was pretty impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After a little more research I found out some amazing details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
